Ipanema tile now available on K10K

While I lived in Brasil a few years ago there were a couple of visual things I was mildly obsessed with—the boldly colorful buses and the varying sidewalk patterns. These sidewalk patterns are world famous thanks to Rio’s beach culture, however the styling actually comes from the Portuguese who happen to be well known for all sorts of tile craftmanship. Here’s a “page of various sidewalk patterns”.

The Ipanema tile is an homage to the famous sidewalk in Rio de Janeiro. I forgot I submitted a pixel tile to Kaliber10000 a long time ago. I just received word that my Ipanema tile was accepted (yay). Here’s the link to the tile.
